(If you are a potential restaurant customer, please SCROLL DOWN.)
As a restaurant owner, since we eat almost 40% of our meals at one of your establishments,1 you have great power to make a huge difference in our health, weight, and lives.
WHAT CAN YOU DO? List, make, or remake ≥3 menu items to mirror the Nutrition Star, i.e., where ≥80% of the calories come from whole plants, lean protein, and/or fatty seafood (AKA “Four-Diamond Foods,” or “4◊Foods”), and label them with their 4◊Score, from 80-100 (e.g., after your dish name or description, write “4◊Score: 86″). If you do, we’ll list you on our website (see below), and send folks your way!
If you want to level up even further (for which we’d be 100% grateful), leave all the “Whatever!” out and create some of those dishes ONLY with 4◊Foods (4◊Score: 100). The more you do, the more you will attract those with particular eating preferences, such as anti-inflammatory, Mediterranean, low-carb, Paleo, Whole30, whole-plant based (WPB), lactose intolerant, vegan, and vegetarian.
When you provide these along with your regular fair, everyone, including those interested in 4◊Foods, will be able to frequent your restaurant – and bring their entire family or friend group – with confidence that everyone will find something to enjoy.
The first ten restaurants to be listed will be listed free for life! Contact us to submit your restaurant name, along with at least three dishes that qualify (and their 4◊Score). After that, we will ask you to become at least a Crystal Cranberry sponsor (one-time donation of $100 or more – see the bottom of How Can I Help?) in order to list your restaurant. This introductory offer is subject to change, and is only available with the understanding that you will provide us data him him him him showing the number of each dish sold.
Contact us if you would like to have a Project Simplify Health specialist:
- Do a brief overview of your menu to identify items that either already may qualify, or could easily be refined to qualify, as having a 4◊Score ≥80 (introductory cost: $50).
- Do a more extensive overview and make specific suggestions based on published ingredients and pictures of the meal of what changes would need to be made to make an item qualify as having a 4◊Score ≥80, or a 4◊Score = 100 (introductory cost: $25/dish).
- (Not available yet) Consult with you over Zoom over meal specifics (an NDA would be signed; likely cost: $60/hour).
